Exporting Data from the Radio Management Client

(Learning and Programming CPS Tools)

1.

From the Radio Management Client's - Radio View, highlight the desired record / rows, then click the Actions Button, and then from the Actions Menu select "Export" è "Grid to file".

 To select multiple radio records, hold down the CTRL key and click the desired records.

From the "Save As" window, you can browse to the desired storage device / folder.

3.

Decide the desired file extension to be either *.XLSX, or *.XLS, or *.CSV, enter the desired filename, then click the Save button.

• Only selected data that is viewable within the Radio View is exported.

• The file may now be opened in Microsoft Excel.

 "*.CSV" is a standard "comma-separated values" format that can be opened in a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel.

From the Radio Management Client's - Radio View, highlight the desired record / row, then click the Actions Button, and then from the Actions Menu select "Export" è "Radio".

• Alternately, you can right-click directly on the desired radio record / row, then select "Export Radio" from the popup menu.

 Exporting multiple radio records / rows is not possible.

In the Save As window, you can browse to the desired storage device / folder where the radio codeplug file is to archived.

• All Template and Non-Template codeplug data is exported.

• The radio's current Template is suggested as the filename (with a .MC file extension).

Enter the desired filename, then click the Save button.

 Exporting multiple radio records / rows is not possible.

Enter the desired filename, then click the Save button.

Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that is both human-readable and machine-readable, It can be opened in a text editor.

From the Radio Management Client's - Radio System View, highlight the desired record / rows, then click the Grid to File button from the Operational Buttons.

 To select multiple radio records, hold down the CTRL key and click the desired records.

From the "Save As" window, you can browse to the desired storage device / folder.

Decide the desired file extension to be either *.XLSX, or *.XLS, or *.CSV, enter the desired filename, then click the Save button.

Only selected data that is viewable within the Radio System View is exported. This exported file cannot be used to perform Import Excel, or Import CSV under Radio View.

 To select multiple radio records, hold down the CTRL key and click the desired records.

From the "Save As" window, you can browse to the desired storage device / folder.

3.

Decide the desired file extension to be either *.XLSX, or *.XLS, or *.CSV, enter the desired filename, then click the Save button.

4.

Only selected data that is viewable within the Data Profile View is exported. This exported file cannot be used to perform Import Excel, or Import CSV under Radio View.
